Linen Premium Album

I took a few photographs of Ryan and Casey’s album before shipping it off.  It is made with a black linen cover and silver embossed with their names on the inside cover.  They chose the photographs and then we developed the layout.  These albums are of such a fine quality that they’re simply stunning in person.

“Photography is a way of… loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever… it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten.”

Judy and Keigo (+Dexter)

A few weeks ago, I shot a late fall engagement session with Judy and Keigo.  They were a tad nervous at the start.

Thankfully, Dexter (their cute  little pug puppy) was there to be adorably distracting.  I have been waiting to do an engagement session with a puppy and he was just perfect!  We couldn’t walk for more than a few minutes before being stopped by his adoring spectators.

Judy and Keigo had a distinct playfulness that was very easy to capture.  They both live in Athens and have PhD’s in chemistry from UGA.  Their wedding was stunning-which I will be posting in a few weeks.  They are each such a delight!

Casey and Ryan

The ceremony was held at the bride’s parent’s home in Madison.  The programs were also the fans to keep cool, tied with pink ribbons.  After the ceremony, close family and friends walked down to the reception area to view a surprise for Ryan.  Casey had hand crafted her a dining room table.  Signed, “from you loving husband, Casey.”  Super cute!

The reception site had a rustic feel and was covered in fresh flowers.  I adored the mini pies for dessert.  There is a short video a few posts down of their send off!  They used birdseed and left in a pink vintage car.  Oh!  And Ryan and Casey made the favors-jars of honey for their guests.  I forgot to grab one, but I am sure they taste amazing.

Ryan has such great taste and was so thoughtful with each detail.  And Casey is definitely one of the boys, but has such a kind heart for his bride.  They are a charming and amiable couple that are a delight to keep as company.  It was an honor to photograph their union!

Nic and Laura

Nic and Laura were wed at the Seney-Stoval Chapel on a summer day in early June.  The Groomsmen wore Converse shoes and sunglasses, while the Bridesmaids were dressed in an array of vibrant colors.  Their bouquets were highlighted with sprigs of rosemary.  For vendors, they chose local artisans of Athens-I heart this idea!  Their reception had more than 12 of Cecelia’s cakes.  Which, If you have ever tasted her work, you know what a treat this was for their guests.  I almost never taste the cake, but I caved this time for the sweet decadence.  They had glow sticks for the send off!  And there is a special photo that was taken at the ceremony of all the guests.

After getting to know both Nic and Laura over the past year, they share a genuine and sweet love.  I hope this is quite evident in the photographs.  Blessings and congrats to you both!
